Who We Are

Yesahcan Sanctuary is a woman operated, all volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides refuge and life-long homes to farm animals in need. Founded in 2018, the sanctuary is home to over 85 permanent residents from a variety of backgrounds, many of whom have been abandoned, abused, surrendered by owners, or simply subjected to the cruelties of the animal agriculture industry.

The mission is two-fold: first, to shelter; second, to educate. Not only do we offer safety and a forever home to as many rescued farm animals as possible, but we also offer education opportunities to the public about more compassionate lifestyle choices, starting with what we put on our plates.

Yesahcan Sanctuary is designed to be a refuge for everyone who steps foot on its grounds.
